2013 Seattle Nissan Altima: The Altima is fully redesigned for the 2013 model year. According to Nissan, the company "changed nearly everything but the name." From its spectacular fuel economy to a sportier suspension and a tougher, leaner aesthetic, this season's Altima is sure to excite drivers, passengers and onlookers alike. Serving up no fewer than seven trims, this sedan also comes in a coupe version. Owners also have two engines from which to choose: Nissan situates its 2013 Seattle Nissan Altima with either a 2.5-liter four-cylinder or a 3.5-liter V-6. The 2.5-liter engine produces 182 horsepower and 180 lb.-ft. of torque and is mated to a CVT. The V-6 cranks out 270 horses and 251 lb.-ft. of torque and comes standard with this same transmission. When performing 0 to 60 mph tests, the 2013 Seattle Nissan Altima situated with the V-6 hit its mark in 6.2 seconds. Not bad for a family mobile.
2013 Seattle Nissan Armada: Powering Nissan's largest rig is a 5.6-liter DOHC 32-valve V-8 engine paired with a five-speed automatic transmission with Tow/Haul Mode to deliver 317 horses along with 385 lb.-ft. of torque. Owners also have a choice between rear-wheel or four-wheel drive with dual-range gearing. This full-size SUV is offered in three trim levels, including the base SV, SL and top-of-the-line Platinum. For the 2013 model year, the 2013 Seattle Nissan Armada gets a new Platinum Reserve Appearance Package. This bundle tacks on a unique dark-chrome, 20-inch alloy wheels and grille, plus two-tone leather upholstery and special trim for the cabin. This season, all Platinum models of the 2013 Seattle Nissan Armada receive 7-inch headrest-mounted screens for the standard video entertainment system. Finally, the entry-level SV trim now comes with a power front passenger seat and Bluetooth as standard.
2013 Seattle Nissan Cube: The 2013 Nissan Cube carries over from last year unchanged. This five-seater compact wagon comes in two trim levels: S and SL. Entry-level models feature items such as 15-inch steel wheels, rear privacy glass, AC, keyless entry, power everything, cruise control, a leather-wrapped tilt-only steering wheel, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker sound system with a CD player and auxiliary audio jack. Those who kick down for the premier level will receive bigger 16-inch wheels and can tack on the Japanese automaker's Preferred Option Package. This bundle adds foglights, a touchscreen navigation system, rearview camera, and an upgraded stereo system with satellite radio and a USB/iPod interface to the 2013 Seattle Nissan Cube. Stand-alone options include an aerodynamic body kit, different wheels, plus a shag-carpet dash-topper. We can't think of any accessory more perfect than a shag-carpet dash for the 2013 Seattle Nissan Cube.
2013 Seattle Nissan Frontier: Not so long ago, our friends over at Edmunds.com awarded the 2013 Frontier a Top Recommended Compact Truck. The good folks from Kelly Blue Book named last year's Frontier a Top 10 Best Resale Value vehicle. The Frontier also received the title of Least Expensive Vehicles to Insure from Insure.com, along with its props from the IIHS, and there's not a whole lot left to say . . . except that the Nissan Frontier receives several new features for the 2013 model year. King Cab and Crew Cab 4x2-automatic Frontiers receive a new trim, entitled the Desert Runner model. The collection equips this truck with wheels and shocks for off-road. Nissan also adds a Value Truck Package (for SV V-6 trims) to the 2013 Seattle Nissan Frontier. Owners can choose to power this beast with either a 4.0-liter DOHC V-6 or a 2.5-liter four-cylinder block. This last engine is only available for the 2013 Seattle Nissan Frontier 4x2 King Cab Frontier.
2013 Seattle Nissan GT-R: Look, we could write a dissertation on the fabulousness of the GT-R, so bear with us while we gush. This tasty four-wheeled machine situates a twin-turbo 3.8-liter V-6 under its hood, from which 545 horses scream, "We helped put the GT-R in the 3-second club!" The engine on the 2013 Seattle Nissan GT-R is hand-built and pairs with a six-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission that routes 463 lb.-ft. of torque to Nissan's advanced all-wheel-drive system. Standard bits on the sexy GT-R show up as four-wheel disc Brembos (15.4 in. for the front and 15 in. for the rear), 20-inch alloys wrapped in high-performance tires, leather this and heated that, and an 11-speaker Bose sound system. The 2013 Seattle Nissan GT-R Black Edition adds lightweight black wheels, a carbon-fiber rear wing (you had us at carbon fiber), along with black-and-red interior and leather Recaro seats. There are also a couple options on the menu, one of which is a Super Silver paint scheme with three layers of clear coat. Then, the whole package is polished by hand . . . which is exactly what you should do to the gorgeous GT-R every day.
2013 Seattle Nissan Juke: True, the Nissan Juke is now in its junior year, yet it continues to roll with a young, sporty look. From the Z-inspired taillights to the rally-car-like headlamps to the turbo engine, this hatchback is unlike any other. With Top Safety Pick and Best Value for its Class awards under its belt, the 2013 Seattle Nissan Juke ups the ante for 2013 by adding special packages and limited editions. First up is the Midnight Edition Accessory Package, which swaps out standard bits for sexy 17-inch black wheels, a Sapphire Black rear-roof spoiler and Sapphire Black mirror caps. Powering this little crossover is a 1.6-liter Direct Injection Gasoline (DIG) DOHC 16-valve turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 188 horsepower and nearly the same in lb.-ft. of torque. This block pairs with a standard six-speed manual, while an Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with Sport mode is an option. Front-wheel drive is also standard, though Nissan does serve up an available torque vectoring all-wheel-drive 2013 Seattle Nissan Juke as well.
2013 Seattle Nissan Leaf: The 100-percent-electric (EV) Nissan Leaf has zero emissions, thanks to its lithium-ion battery that powers an advanced 80kW AC synchronous electric motor. This particular battery is half the weight and twice the power of the nickel-metal hydride batteries used in some other hybrids, and the whole system serves up an incredibly quiet and smooth ride. Plus, the 2013 Seattle Nissan Leaf offers up to a 100-mile driving range on a single charge. Another feature that saves owners time and money is this EV's regenerative braking. When the brakes are applied, the Leaf's motor acts as an electric generator, converting energy that would otherwise be wasted into battery energy. Then there's the 2013 Seattle Nissan Leaf exclusive advanced IT system. This setup is connected to a global data center, providing drivers with support, information, and entertainment 24 hours a day.
2013 Seattle Nissan Maxima: Touted as a four-door sports car, the 2013 Nissan Maxima serves up plenty of power and efficiency, plus room for five. In fact, Kelly Blue Book recently named the Maxima a Best Resale Value vehicle. Powering the 2013 Seattle Nissan Maxima is a 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve V-6, which delivers a superb 290 horses and 261 lb.-ft. of torque. Paired with an Xtronic CVT with DS and Manual modes (paddle shifters are optional), this whole setup earns drivers excellent gas mileage. Suspension specs on the 2013 Seattle Nissan Maxima show up to the party boasting an independent strut front and independent multi-link for the rear, coupled with front and rear stabilizer bars. Optional is a sport-tuned suspension, which includes retuned struts and shocks, stiffer springs, and a larger front stabilizer bar. The braking unit on the Maxima consists of 12.60-in. front and 12.13-in. rear vented discs, and a four-wheel anti-lock braking system, electronic brakeforce distribution and brake assist.
2013 Seattle Nissan Murano: Fact: The Nissan Murano is well-equipped in the safety department. No, really. Just last year it was awarded a perfect score from the NHTSA for its performance during side-impact crash tests. New for the 2013 model year, this crossover receives even more safety features, including the Japanese automaker's lane-departure, blind-spot and moving-object detection systems. Although the 2013 Seattle Nissan Murano is allotted only one engine, it's quite the gem. The 3.5-liter V-6 boils 260 horses and thunders 240 lb.-ft. of torque via its CVT. Front-wheel drive is standard on the 2013 Seattle Nissan Murano, and an all-wheel-drive setup is offered as an option. Bundles for this rig include a Value Package, a Navigation Package and a Platinum Edition Package. This collection tacks on 20-inch, seven-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels, a stainless-steel rear bumper protector, a navigation system and more.
2013 Seattle Nissan Murano Crosscabriolet: If you just happen to be looking for an all-wheel-drive convertible/crossover/utility vehicle sorta deal, well . . . you're in luck. Rolling into its sophomore year, Nissan situates its convertible version of the Murano with a 265-horsepower V-6 and CVT. The vehicle's ragtop is crafted from double-lined canvas with a rear glass window that folds down with the touch of a button. The Japanese automaker also outfits the 2013 Seattle Nissan Murano Crosscabriolet with a specially designed windshield to deflect both wind and sound. With room for four, this two-door convertible comes in one single trim that is stacked. Standard items on the 2013 Seattle Nissan Murano Crosscabriolet include 20-inchers, leather upholstery, automatic xenon headlights, foglamps, a heated and power-adjustable tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, an auto-dimming mirror, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and a seven-speaker Bose sound system with a CD player, satellite radio, plus an iPod/USB audio interface--and that's just a sprinkling!
2013 Seattle Nissan Pathfinder: The Nissan Pathfinder graces the SUV world with a fourth generation model that pushes its own envelope even further. Employing an astounding surplus of muscle and off-road capabilities, this bad boy is redesigned from head to toe, up and down, and front to back. That's right, the oh-so-reliable 2013 Seattle Nissan Pathfinder spearheads innovative features and sleek style with never-before-seen efficiency, all wrapped around a unibody platform. In fact, the Japanese automaker loves its all-new flagship SUV so much, it decided to stamp it with a new title: The Next Gen SUV. Equipped with a refined V-6 engine and a next-generation CVT, the 2013 model year sees a 25-percent improvement in fuel efficiency. The 2013 Seattle Nissan Pathfinder is the only SUV in its class to offer both selectable 2WD, Auto or 4WD modes. Drivers can switch into Auto Mode, and when the system senses slippery conditions or bumpy terrain (which it does automatically), it will adjust the power to each wheel, giving the person behind the wheel maximum control.
2013 Seattle Nissan Quest: Anyone interested in a seven-passenger "mini" van will absolutely care that this family-mobile comes with a second-row bench that easily slides or tilts for easy access. Plus, with all seats folded flat, the 2013 Seattle Nissan Quest has up to 119.8 cu. ft. of cargo space. With its easy-to-operate quick release fold-flat seats, moms and dads will rejoice! Of course, safety is also vital when hauling your kid's little league team to and from games, which is why Nissan outfits the 2013 Seattle Nissan Quest with six standard air bags, along with additional roof- and side-mounted airbags. Additional safety equipment shows up as advanced braking and traction features, and LATCH-compatible child restraints in certain second- and third-row seats. Finally, the Quest is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 delivering 260 horsepower and 240 lb.-ft. of torque.
2013 Seattle Nissan Rogue: We've said it once, we'll say it again: The mighty world of crossovers and SUVs is incredibly wide and varied. So when it came time to review the 2013 Nissan Rogue, we were very curious about the most important specs. Including up to 57.9 cu. ft. of space, all-wheel drive, as well as an available navigation system and around-view monitor, the 2013 Seattle Nissan Rogue is quite well equipped. Add to this its tough front stance, sleek lines and all-around sportiness, and we believe the crossover audience is just as happy as we are. Power on the 2013 Seattle Nissan Rogue is impressive, too. Situated under the hood of this sporty crossover is a 2.5-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder that cranks out 170 horses while hammering 175 lb.-ft. of torque through its Xtronic CVT. According to Nissan, this block is crafted with direct-injection and platinum-tipped spark plugs.
2013 Seattle Nissan Sentra: We were curious about the Sentra so wanted to take a closer look at the power under its hood. What we found was Nissan's 1.8-liter four-cylinder, which produces 130 horsepower and sends 128 lb.-ft. of torque through to the front wheels, via a six-speed manual transmission. (The manual is standard on the base model, though a CVT is offered as an option. All trims save the base receive the CVT as standard.) Sacrificing mind-splitting power means the 2013 Seattle Nissan Sentra tallies excellent fuel economy, while its Fuel Economy Plus (FE+) model tallies even better EPA estimates. Oh, and then there's the fact that the 2013 Seattle Nissan Sentra is fully redesigned. Finally, this season's Sentra receives the NHTSA's 5-Star Rating for its performance during side-impact crash tests. No wonder Nissan calls it the "most innovative Sentra ever."
2013 Seattle Nissan Titan: Trucks, trucks, trucks. What can we say except they sure do give owners a plethora of choices. For example, take Nissan's 2013 Titan: This pickup comes in King- and Crew-Cab models and several configurations. The King lays claim to a 6-ft.-6-in. cargo bed, while Crew-Cab owners can choose among a short 5-ft.-7-in. or a long 7-ft.-3-in. bed. Both setups are offered with either two- or four-wheel drive, along with four trim levels: S, SV, Pro-4X and SL. The 2013 Seattle Nissan Titan gets its power from a 5.6-liter V-8 rated at 317 horsepower and 385 lb.-ft. of torque and mates with a standard five-speed automatic transmission that includes a tow/haul mode. When properly equipped, the 2013 Seattle Nissan Titan King Cab can tow up to 9,500 lbs. New for this season, Nissan adds a few bits to different trims, like a rearview camera, a 120V household-style power outlet, a sunroof and so, so much more.
2013 Seattle Nissan Versa: According to Nissan execs, the Japanese automaker is not only working to design and build both hybrid and electric vehicles, but it's also going back to the drawing board and remapping how internal combustion engines work best. Thus, the engineers devised Pure Drive, Nissan's umbrella term for systems that improve fuel economy in gasoline-powered vehicles. Last year's Versa was the first vehicle to wear the Pure Drive badge, exceeding Federal CAFE standards for 2016--that's a car that's four years ahead of schedule, folks! Needless to say, the 2013 Seattle Nissan Versa earns excellent gas mileage from its 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. Paired with a five-speed manual, this setup delivers 109 horsepower, along with 107 lb.-ft. of torque. A four-speed automatic is an option, though the manufacturer serves up a CVT for upper trims. The 2013 Seattle Nissan Versa hatchback receives a 122-horsepower 1.8-liter four-cylinder paired with either a six-speed manual or four-speed automatic.
2013 Seattle Nissan Xterra: For those who love to get real dirty, the Xterra's Pro-4X model serves up a ton of off-road equipment, including an electronic locking rear differential, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, Bilstein shock absorbers, skid plates, and unique 16-inch alloy wheels wrapped in special off-road tires. This top-tier trim also tacks on automatic headlights, foglights and roof-mounted off-road driving lights. Inside this model of the 2013 Seattle Nissan Xterra, owners find a fold-flat front passenger seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, white-face gauges, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with built-in compass, outside temperature display, a navigation system with rearview camera, Bluetooth, and a nine-speaker Rockford Fosgate sound system with a six-CD changer and satellite radio. This off-road-built 2013 Seattle Nissan Xterra is also eligible to receive Nissan's Pro-4X Leather package, which adds leather upholstery (so much easier to clean) and a passenger seatback map pocket.
2013 Seattle Nissan Z: Now in its sixth generation, the uber-fab Z gets some minor changes for the 2013 model year, namely a switch up in the design of the grille and front-fascia area. New items also show up in the form of fresh 18-inch wheels, two additional colors, as well as unique elements for those opting to add the Sport Package. The 2013 Seattle Nissan Z comes in both coupe and roadster models, while its powerful 3.7-liter DOHC 24-valve V-6 cranks out 332 horses and 270 lb.-ft. of torque. This block is paired with either a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic. The V-6 in the 2013 Seattle Nissan Z Nismo gets a little lift, cranking out an additional 18 horses and 6 lb.-ft. of torque, and pairs with the SynchroRev Match manual transmission. This system is an available option on other 2013 Seattle Nissan Z trims, as well.
2013 Nissan Frontier: Powering this beast are a couple of different blocks: First up is Nissan's 4.0-liter DOHC V6 engine, which produces 261 horses, along with 281 lb.-ft. of torque. Also on the performance menu is a 2.5-liter inline-four that puts out 152 horsepower, though this engine is only available for the 4x2 King Cab Frontier. The Nissan Frontier also serves up a few choices for transmissions; a five-speed automatic and a six-speed manual are listed, while King Cabs paired with the 2.5-liter engine are eligible for a five-speed manual. The four-wheel-drive Frontier is outfitted by ...

2013 Nissan Maxima: With regard to safety, the Maxima recently received five-out-of-five stars from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) for its performance during side-impact crash testing. Which makes sense after you see the uber-list of safety equipment. The 2013 Maxima features the Japanese auto maker's Advanced Air Bag System with dual-stage supplemental front air bags with seat belt and occupant-classification sensors...
