Handling the roads and the needs of your jobsite are capabilities that all pickup trucks must possess. Here’s how the new Frontier compares to the Ridgeline in terms of performance features.

• The Nissan Frontier comes with an optional 4.0L DOHC V6 engine that offers 281 hp compared to the Honda Ridgeline that comes with a 3.5L SOHC V6 engine with 262 hp.
• The Nissan Frontier gives drivers the choice of a manual or automatic transmission, while the Honda Ridgeline only offers an automatic transmission.
• The Nissan Frontier comes with an 8.9-inch ground clearance while the Honda Ridgeline stops at 7.87 inches
• The minimum towing capacity on the Frontier is 3,790 pounds and the maximum is 6,710 pounds. On the Ridgeline, the minimum is 3,500 pounds while the maximum is just 5000 pounds.

Safety

As you drive, you want to also know you and your passengers are protected. While both the Nissan Frontier and Honda Ridgeline offer impressive safety features, such as airbags, antilock brakes, rearview cameras, and traction control, the Nissan Frontier offers just a bit more safety thanks to the standard Active Head Restraints. This added feature helps prevent whiplash in the event of a collision, and the Honda Ridgeline doesn’t offer it.
